1. New chat hardware helping

   We had to cancel our chat the other night because our chat room froze up and we couldn't use it. Come to find out Yuku was making some upgrades to it to overcome some chat problems. It's working fine now, folks, and if you watch the main page, it will even show you not only when someone is in the chat room, but it will also show you WHO is in the chat room! 3. Getting Started

   Well, here we are! Our board was finally migrated over to Yuku, and we are all wondering if we'll ever learn our way around here. I hope that we eventually feel comfortable here because from what I've found there are really some interesting place to go and things to see. Jo and I have a lot to learn about changing the appearance of Sonshine Corner. I don't really like the new colors that Yuku applied to our board. Some of the blues are all wrong. So I've been looking at other ways we can design the board, and over time you'll see some changes being made.
   
   Be sure and keep an eye on the Parlor Chat room. If someone is there, you should see their name right next to the chat room name. If someone's there, come on in. This chat room is much improved over the one at ezboard. You can put a decorative background on your chat screen and the smilies really come to life! You can send flash files which are like little movies to the other people in the room....and you can also send some weird sounds. Patsy, you should love this place!
   
   I just wish I had more time to spend learning how to do CSS skins which are like designing the elements on a board page. It's a lot more complex than the system at ezboard, but the pages are really beautiful. The special effects are nice!
